New car under warranty? You can still choose the workshop
Under EU competition rules (the MV BER regulation 461/2010, extended until 31 May 2028) a manufacturer cannot make the factory warranty conditional on servicing your car only at its own dealer network.
- Scheduled maintenance may be done by an independent workshop - as long as it follows the manufacturer's service schedule, uses parts of matching quality, and documents the work that was carried out.
- Repairs under the warranty itself - free-of-charge fixing of a factory defect - are still done by the dealer.
- The “warranty stays valid” mark is set by the workshop itself. Garag does not verify it - check the schedule and the parts with the workshop before booking.

Where do the reviews and rating come from?
The rating and the number of ratings come from Google. Reviews in Garag are left by clients after an order: whether they recommend the workshop or not.
Why do some workshops have no "Book" button?
That workshop hasn't joined Garag yet. Its page shows the address, opening hours and directions, and online booking works at connected workshops.
Will I see the repair status at any workshop?
Only if the workshop runs the order in Garag. Then the status, photos and estimate are visible in your account.
